We are looking for girls ages 5-12 who wear a size 6x or 10. We want THEM to audition to be a model for the American Girl Fashion Show, which will be held on April 24, 25 & 26 at the Springfield Hilton. Visit www.cmnspringfield.org for audition dates and an application. Applications are due on February 20, 2009.

If you know a girl age 5-12 of ANY size, who is does not meet the clothing size requirements or is not selected as a model, you can purchase a Guest Model Package for her. Packages are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. For details, visit www.cmnspringfield.org.

The American Girl Fashion show will benefit Children’s Miracle Network at St. John’s Children’s Hospital in partnership with SIU School of Medicine.

Morgan Metz, Miss Sangamon County, was recently crowned Miss Illinois County Fair! We are so excited for her! Way to go Morgan! As Miss Illinois County Fair, Morgan will be traveling to fairs, festivals and events through out the state of Illinois this summer. Ryan was born on October 14, 2008 with an Unbalanced Atriaventricular Canal, Aortic Atresia and a Hypo-plastic left ventricle of the heart. He has been fighting for his life ever since. Please help.

The benefit will inclue a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, children’s entertainment and music. Food will be provided and a cash bar will be available. Donations will be accepted at the event. People are always telling me that I am EVERYWHERE! Well, here I go again! A great friend of mine designed the WINNING showcase at the Festival of Trees. I was lucky enough to be able to display two of my fine art canvases in her showcase. Check it out!

Last night I took my daughter to see Harvey at Springfield High School. It was directed by two of my Senior MODELS. How could I resist? There are a TON of images from the show, but here is ONE to tide you over. Great job, everybody!
