I HAVE to show this one!

I love SENIORS!

They all look so good and dress great! They listen to what I have to say and they want to do their best. I could photograph seniors all day! Seems like that is what I have been doing lately. Love it!

Prom Preview!

2008 Senior!

2008 Seniors are coming out of the woodwork. I have been so busy photographing them. Just in time for graduation!

Super FUN Senior Session!

Miss Illinois

Just one more of Miss Illinois.

What a SMILE!

Look at those missing teeth. Too cute!

Holy First Communion

Those EYES!

Recent Senior!

I knew this senior would dress to impress. He looked great! There are so many from this session, but only time to show one…for now.

Can you hear the music?

Just one from a recent senior session. What a fun girl to hang out with! It was a perfect day to sit and play the guitar. I wanted to break out into song, but having NO musical talent whatsoever, I just photographed her. That was probably a good thing. LOL

Sweet Sixteen!

Here’s the BIRTHDAY GIRL. What a fun birthday present! I think a Kimberly Smoot Photo session should be on every girl’s birthday list!

American Girl FASHION SHOW images…

I will post a few here and will be posting the rest in a gallery that you can take a look at just as soon as a get a minute to put them up there. They are so cute!

Six degrees of Separation…or LESS.

Definition from Wikipedia: Six degrees of separation refers to the idea that, if a person is one step away from each person he or she knows and two steps away from each person who is known by one of the people he or she knows, then everyone is an average of six “steps” away from each person on Earth.

That being said, it was fun to learn that I “knew” Miss Illinois. We spent most of the day together on Tuesday. She made a surprise visit to Vachel Lindsay School to talk to the kids in my daughter’s class. The other fourth graders joined in too. Miss Illinois spoke about Character and even sang for the kids. It was AWESOME!

After that we headed to the State Capitol Building. Miss Illinois was VERY popular there! I photographed her with lots of state politicians. She was officially introduced to the members of the House. Yep, I took photos of that too. On our way out, we got a tour of the Governor’s office. Like the inner, inner office where he hangs out when he is in town. Miss Illinois posed with the Gov’s Elvis statue. Who knew they shared a love for “The King?” Of course I photographed it. LOL Then we headed out to the lawn of the Capitol for this image.

What an amazing, surreal day. More images to come.
