Does your child have THE look?

Do people comment that your child should be modeling? Does he/she have a different or unusual look? Has your child expressed an interest in modeling? If you think your child has THE look, let me know! Kimberly Smoot Photography will be photographing children ages 8-12 for an upcoming project.

Email a snapshot of your child along with your name, your child’s name, age and contact information to info@kimberlysmoot.com.

Sisters On the GO!

I know it looks like these sisters are sitting still, but believe me, they were on the GO for most of the session! Enjoy!

Fast Paced and Full of FUN!

These two kept me on my toes! Such FUN on a beautiful fall day!

In Studio…Color and Black & White

Fun new partnership for Kimberly Smoot Photography!

I am so excited to have many of my beautiful canvases displayed at Capitol Imaging, 2309 West White Oaks Drive, Suite E, Springfield, Illinois. Capital Imaging, www.capitalimaging3D.com, creates a unique experience for expectant parents and their unborn baby. Using 3D/4D ultrasounds, parents are able to vizualise their unborn baby in a way they never thought was possible. If you would like to schedule an appointment call (217)502-9980. Look for my display while you are there. You can’t miss it!

Tweens from SMOOTFEST!

What do 13 photographers do for FUN?

This weekend was the second annual get together fondly referred to as SMOOTFEST. Thirteen photographers from all over the country came to hang out with me. We had so much fun photographing our beautiful model today! I will share more images soon. In the meantime, enjoy!

Woodland Baby

This sweet baby was all bundled up in the woods. We tucked him in between the roots of a wise, old maple tree. Someday baby will run and jump and climb the old maple tree. Photographs to follow in seven to ten years.

Serious Senior

I hung out with this senior the other day! Love this one! There are too many to talk about!

Sweet Sisters!

Last year I photographed these girls outside. Luckily we were photographing them in studio today. The weather would not have cooperated with an outdoor session.

I am seeing a beautiful, custom designed HOLIDAY CARD in their future!

YMCA

Next time you are downtown, stop by the YMCA. I have been working on a display for the YMCA for a few months. I photographed members participating in a variety of activities. The images displayed in the lobby show members swimming, lifting weights, kick boxing and MORE! Today was the unveiling. I was invited to meet the YMCA board members during a reception. Thank you to the State Journal Register for attending. Keep your eyes on the paper for the whole story.

You can see more images at http://www.springfieldymca.org/. Check it out and sign up for a class while you are there!

Fall Family!

Just one from today. It was windy, but we did it! Thanks!

She’s a STAR!

If you didn’t see the Channel 20 news yesterday, you missed seeing my daughter give an account of the bus accident she was in. Luckily everyone involved ended up being ok, but it was really scary! Thanks to a neighbor for this snapshot of Emily being interviewed!

Beautiful Family!

Any family with twin babies and a preschooler that braves the whole “family photo” thing deserves to see one of the images from their session! Enjoy!

Rain, rain, go away!

I had such a great time hanging out with this little girl today! Her personality was so bright it chased the rain away!
