I can’t go ANYWHERE…

I know, I KNOW…I have not posted…I’m sorry!

I think it is so funny that so many people are checking my BLOG! I have had emails saying that I have not posted. I will catch up soon. I was out of town for business and for pleasure, if that counts for anything. I will post images from the GO RED for women luncheon that I was honored to be invited to attend. That is a whole post right there! I will also tell all about the work that I am doing for the Hope Institute and the FABULOUS evening I had at the Celebrity Chef Event. Happy 50th Hope! All that and more to be added soon.

We interrupt your regular scheduled programming because I’ve been tagged! There is a game of blog tag going around where someone tags you and you have to tell 5 things about yourself that most people don’t know, and then tag 5 other people.

I have been tagged by my photographer friend Sarah Ulrich…be sure to check out her work, she’s a true inspiration!

So here we go:

1. I have lived in Springfield for over 10 years. I love it! I am from a suburb of Chicago, but Springfield feels like HOME!

2. Photography is my second career. I was a teacher until I started my business. I taught Language Arts at the Middle School in Girard.

3. When I was a kid I got Andy Gibb’s autograph while I was on vacation in California. Does anyone know who Andy Gibb is?

4. My favorite color is PINK!

5. I have owned THREE black Ford Explorers in a row. Don’t ask why. I have no idea.

As mentioned in the SJR, Kimberly Smoot Photography is hosting a TRASH BASH of sorts! If you have a wedding gown or a prom dress that you are not attached to, why not have AWESOME images made of you in the dress? Images like you could NEVER have before the wedding or the prom! This is your chance to be photographed by nationally recommended TTD photographer, Kimberly Smoot!

It is free to TRASH your DRESS! Each person that trashes their dress will recieve a FREE 8×10 image. You pay only for any additional images you order.
